We were up before 8:00 am, unloading the jeep, arranging who takes what in their luggage, and packing for the trip home. I left a number of items with Joey that I normally take back home, because I was planning to come back with Kate later in the year (which I did, in September). We drove to Scott’s (my jeep caretaker) in Yorba Linda to drop off my jeep, and Joey took Danny and me to LAX while Sheryl took Bobby to John Wayne. At the airport around 12:20 pm, Danny and I had lunch at Taco Express and beer at a bar with a name like Camacho’s in the USAir terminal by gate 7. We boarded our 1:50 pm flight on time, changed planes in Philadelphia, and were in Boston by midnight. We got picked up by the Park, Shuttle & Fly shuttle and were home about 1:30 am on the 24th.
